We stayed one night and it was just what we wanted. Close to downtown restaurants it was still a peaceful place to relax. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place right in the heart of Apalach. Walkable to everything you’d want food and nightlife wise. Cool little historic building with views of the river.

The location was perfect and walkable to everything! The check in instructions were clear and concise. I didn't find the bed to be the most comfortable, but everything else about the Airbnb was perfect! You could open the shutters to look out onto the porch, the windows themselves we couldn't physically open. The shared communal kitchen was a nice touch! They also had extra linens and laundry room easily accessible for use by the kitchen. They also had street parking right in front of the main entrance! The pictures are an accurate depiction of the space, and would stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in this historic building. It has been renovated very sympathetically to keep its character. A lovely room, comfortable bed and good bathroom. The shared kitchen worked well. Definitely recommend!

This is a 1900 circa small room with bathroom in a community like inn. It's awesome for someone not looking for amenities like a TV or phone. Just right for one of two.

Great rustic authentic place with only four rooms and common area kitchen. Super location right off of Water Street - walk to most everything you’d want. Rustic with nice bed and the wraparound porch with rockers was great. Very low key self-checkin/out was nice and easy. We’ll be back!

This location is within walking distance to so many great places in Apalachicola, in addition to a coffee and breakfast stand around the corner. While located close to the action, it feels like you are away from it all when standing on the wrap-around porch enjoying your favorite beverage. We will visit again.

It's simple, small and cost effective if you aren't spending a lot of time in the rental. The shared space is good size and utile, and the wrap around porch is nice. The location is really what's best about it. Its a couple blocks to anything you need so its very convenient and a nice alternative to staying on the island. Beach access is a short drive over two bridges and there's great public parking. Definitely worth a weekend stay!

We just had a quick one night stay, but immediately decided we would have to come back to stay again. Gorgeous old building, loved the balcony porch, room was comfortable and clean, and the shared kitchen space was appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at Popham's Place in Apalachicola. Easy check-in, well appointed hotel-style amenities. Everything you could need is a quick couple blocks away- typically it's difficult to find something available on one of the squares in Apalach, so this place was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend and will certainly return to this quaint hideaway in our favorite city.

Rustic, but fresh. My room (Popham's Place) was tiny but just right for my solo visit. Porch and rockers were great. The stairs deserve a call-out--beautiful, but very steep and possibly an issue for those who have bad knees or balance issues.

Room was as expected. It was very clean and I loved the special touches all around. The bed was too bouncy (is that a thing?) and it POURED last night/this morning and it leaked into the stairs, which was worrisome trying to get downstairs with all my stuff. Overall though, I really enjoyed my stay, certainly potential for coming back!

nice find, we've stayed a couple times now and will return. this is a place to go and relax, no tv but not needed, as the town keeps you busy enough and the day trip to the beach is easy.

We stopped in Apalachicola to break up the trip home. I loved the easy check-in, quietness of area, and ease of walking just a few blocks to get both a delicious dinner at The Tap room at the Owl and breakfast at the historic Gibson Hotel. The room was clean and a treat with it's shared coffee area, outdoor porch, and overall vintage charm.

I loved the reclaimed decor, the rockers on the porch, and the shared kitchen space. We would recommend a comfortable chair for reading and headboard/footboard with a light for bed reading.

Cute little room in a cool historic building. Great location very walkable to all that downtown has to offer (please note most places are closed on Sunday/Monday!). Loved the neighborhood cats and the beautiful porches for relaxing with a glass of wine. Only suggestion would be for the hosts to add a hairdryer! We recommend the Bowery Inn and would come back!

We loved the quiet location and simplicity of this restored Inn. It really is a step back in time and was the perfect place to stay to explore Old Florida. We totally enjoyed the history of the area and especially the tour of the Raney home museum. Good options were also good. Best part though was happy hour on our porch at the Inn. Loved it.

We enjoyed staying here. A few blocks from downtown, loved the shared kitchen and spent a lot of time out on the wraparound porch. The place is charming and very well maintained. Intimate and quiet with just four rooms on the property. So much more fun then staying at a motel or hotel. We would definitely come back here.

The Bowery Inn is a quaint place built in the early 1900s. It is very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and the upper deck drinking our coffee in the mornings. The room was well appointed. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had. The location is on the edge of town so the traffic is less yet it’s very close to the hub of the action. We really enjoyed taking a few days to relax and refresh. Would definitely recommend this place.
